A Rapid Calculational Method for Multigroup Elastic Transfer

Continuous slowing-down theory is applied to the generation of elastic transfer matrices at the broad group level. When this theory is incorporated into a standard processing code, substantial savings in time are achieved while acceptable accuracy is retained.
