Elastic Scattering of Heavy Projectiles by Light Targets

Explicit relations are derived for the angular distribution in the laboratory of elastically scattered particles, assuming isotropic scattering in the center-of-mass system. Cases considered are mass ratios target/projectile greater than, equal to, and less than unity.
