An Automated Procedure for Selecting Boiling Water Reactor Refueling Policies Following Operational Problems or Changes

Previous work on the automated selection of refueling patterns under equilibrium conditions has been extended to situations where operational difficulties or changes have been encountered. The approach has been embodied in the REFUEL computer program, which is capable of determining the refueling pattern to be used with conventional boiling water reactor cores or the newer minimum shuffle control cell core configuration.
