Security sealing systems for nuclear materials safeguards are based on tamper indicating and fingerprinted seals. The trend in fingerprinting development is based on random manufacturing process. A present design for fingerprinted seals uses an internally referenced optical alignment technique to provide unaided observation of a digital fingerprint.
