The Half-Life of Dysprosium-165

Using the weighted least-squares fit of the curve count rate versus time, we have measured the half-life of ¹⁶⁵Dy and found its value to be 140.02 ± 0.36 min. This value was checked by measurements of thermal-neutron flux using a dysprosium foil, assuming a number of values of T_1/2 clustered around the previously determined value.
