An improved abrasive slurry tank for use with conventional liquid-honing machines was built and tested. Its shape, a 1.7-in.- (4.3-cm)-thick triangular slab, promotes good mixing by improving recirculation and is nuclearly safe for uranium enriched to 93% ²³⁵ U.
