Citizens’ Workshops on Energy and the Environment

The Citizens’ Workshops on Energy and the Environment program was designed to heighten citizen awareness of the many dimensions of the energy problem. It involved the development of a novel educational device—the Energy-Environment Simulator—and appropriate visual materials for a general audience. The workshops have been presented more than 1500 times and in virtually every state of the union.
