The Total Neutron Cross Sections of the Curium Isotopes from 0.01 to 30 eV

The total neutron cross sections have been measured and resonance parameters determined for 243Cm, 245 Cm, and 246Cm from 0.01 to 30 eV and for 244Cm up to 90 eV. A total thermal neutron cross section at 0.0253 eV was determined for 244Cm of 23 ± 3 b and 2900 ± 450 b for 245Cm. Resonance absorption integrals of 2345 ± 470 b for 243Cm, 605 ± 40 b for 244Cm and 897 ± 180 b for 245Cm were calculated from the resonance parameters.
