Many-fold Moment Method

An extension of Yvon's method to two-dimensional transport theory is given. The detailed formalism in P₁ approximation is presented. Some pilot calculations on two-dimensional critical sizes performed on an IBM 704 are presented both for bare and reflected reactors. A brief outline of extending this method to both three-dimensional or multigroup problems is given in the Appendix.
