The limiting critical concentration of ²³⁹Pu in aqueous solution has been reevaluated from experimental data obtained in the Physical Constants Test Reactor and determined to be 7.19 ± 0.15 g ²³⁹Pu/ liter. The value is supported by the results of 18-group diffusion theory calculations of aqueous solutions of both Pu(NO₃)₄ and UO₂F₂.
