Wigner-Wilkins scattering kernel computation is reexamined from the viewpoint of a novel mapping. The benefits of this transformation are (a) a stream-lined integrand, (b) a simple, half-strip integration domain, and (c) manifest detailed balance symmetry relative to the equilibrium Maxwellian.
