Integral spectrum measurements have been used to test ENDF/B-IV data for ²³⁸U in the energy range from 10 keV to 10 MeV. The changes made in the inelastic cross section (relative to ENDF/B-III) have been found to produce improved agreement between spectrum measurements and calculations. However, further reduction in the effectiveness of inelastic scattering appears desirable.
