A beta-gamma coincidence counting technique was developed to analyze nuclide pairs such as Zr95-Nb95 and Ru103-Ru106 that are unresolvable by gamma spectrometry. The method provides a means of correcting the count rate for solids on the sample plate so that solids-free mounts or mounts on thin films are not required.
