Chemical processing for the recovery and purification of carrier-free I¹²⁵ produced by bombardment of isotopically enriched Te¹²⁵ with protons in the ORNL 86-Inch Cyclotron was accomplished by selective distillations; Mn⁵⁴ was separated from a Cr⁵⁴ target by ion exchange. The enriched Te¹²⁵ and Cr⁵⁴ were recovered for re-use.
