The capture and fission probabilities of U²³⁸ have been determined radiochemically as functions of horizontal position in EBR-I (Mark II). The ratios _σc(U²³⁸)/_σf(U²³⁵) and _σc(U²³⁸)/_σf (Pu²³⁹) are also presented as functions of horizontal position in the reactor.
