A First-Collision Source Method That Satisfies Discrete S_n Transport Balance

The standard first-collision source method is modified to include the angle-integrated meshcell balance equation. This modification produces a method that is fully consistent with our normal S_n balance, which is essential for diagnostic purposes. The method is calso second order in mesh refinements. Illustrative results are presented.
