The measurements of fast neutron capture cross sections of europium relative to gold at six neutron energies were carried out by using a large liquid scintillator detector. The neutron capture cross sections of ¹⁵¹ Eu and ¹⁵³ Eu were calculated from 0.1 to 2.0 MeV using an optical model and statistical theory. The results are discussed and compared with the results of previous experiments.
