In this Note it is demonstrated that proposed (n, γn<’) data for²³⁸U cause substantially greater discrepancies to appear between measured and calculated spectra in uranium depleted in ²³⁵U than have been observed without these data. It is concluded that these data should not be introduced into evaluated data files.
