The double-differential cross sections of (p,xn) reactions induced on lead targets with incident proton energies of 590, 800, and 1500 MeV has been investigated by using a quantum molecular dynamics (QMD) model. The simulation results are compared with the measured data and are in good agreement. It is clear that the QMD model is a useful approach for intermediate proton-induced reactions.
