Theoretical and experimental determinations of the cadmium correction factor F_Cd have been made for various thicknesses of indium foils in an isotropic epithermal neutron flux. It was found that for indium foils with 0.040-in. cadmium covers F_Cd varied slightly with foil thickness and reached a maximum value of 1.123 for thicknesses greater than 90 mg/cm².
