This paper describes the recent modeling enhancements to the CHEMCON code that allow more accurate post-LOCA calculations to be performed for the ITER project. Verification activities performed on select models are also detailed. As part of these activities, a method of approximating multi-dimensional conduction and radiation effects in the one-dimensional CHEMCON code is given.
