An experimental assembly to simulate ITER (International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor) shield has been established, which was the combination of a sphere of 70 cm in diameter and a cylinder-shell of 35 × 35 cm made of alternating multi-layers of iron and water. The measurements of the absolute reaction rates, the angular neutron flux spectra, and the neutron leakage spectrum without the extended cylinder have been carried out.
