A variable size and variable energy cluster beam injection system is proposed for fueling and heating / current-drive in a next-step magnetically-confined fusion experimental reactor. Most of the technologies for this system are presently available. Thus these auxiliary systems around the reactor would be unified and simplified with a minimum technological step.
