Many experiments with tokamak plasma have shown that such a plasma was a very complicated state of matter. A lot of different non-linear processes develop in plasma. Some of them look like a turbulence but this turbulence coexists with non-linear structures strongly coupled each other. As a result many non-linear phenomena develop which look like self-organization. This self-organization manifests itself in transport phenomena.
