The consept of gaseous coolant direct healing in the reactor core by fission fragment deposition is considered. The temperatures as high as (3-5)*103 K can be reached and total heat power of the single module be of order 10-20 MW. The prospects of using the latter in space propulsion systems as well as in combination with closed - circle MHD generator or by direct water thermodissociation are discussed.
