Overview of National Tritium Program / dx.doi.org/10.13182/FST92-A29748

This paper summarizes tritium technology efforts currently under way in Canada. Emphasis is given to CFFTP funded work related to fusion applications, although fission related tritium experience is also included. The base of fission experience and the dual role of facilities and personnel and close links with industry have been important factors for the program. The fusion tritium program covers a number of diverse topics. Work is summarized on fuel systems, breeding blankets, first wall and safety. A discussion is included of both recent results and work in progress.
