The results of preliminary tests on tritium and neutrons from palladium cathodes during D₂O electrolysis are presented. The few positive results obtained from many tests are discussed. Neutron and tritium signals are not obtained in the same experiment, but significant limits (5 × 10⁵ to 1 × 10⁷) are established for the tritium-to-neutron ratio due to the precision in tritium measurements and the stability of neutron detectors.
