Blanket and Process Engineering / Proceedings of the Second National Topical Meeting on Tritium Technology in Fission, Fusion and Isotopic Applications (Dayton, Ohio, April 30 to May 2, 1985) / dx.doi.org/10.13182/FST85-A24613

The requirements for radiological protection of a tritium plant planned for the Joint European Torus (JET) are considered. This includes the instrumentation to provide adequate monitoring at the low design level envisaged. Looking further into the future, the radiological protection (RP) problems identified by an International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Working Group are outlined with a view to discussing how these problems might be solved.
