Neutron Emission by Plasma Cavitons

Observation of neutron emission from a radio-frequency gas discharge in deuterium at input powers as low as 100 W is reported. The effect is caused by the formation of localized resonant nonlinear plasma structures, which are interpreted as a special type of caviton.
