Imaging plates were adopted as a convenient tool for measuring tritium distributions in tritium-containing components such as tritium targets, smeared sample pieces, etc. Procedure of the measurements was optimized and detailed distributions of tritium were obtained. As a result, the method was confirmed as useful in obtaining knowledge on the accelerator beam control and focusing, and the contamination check of peripheral components around tritium targets.
