We overview the status of atomic and molecular data base and data activities for fusion research at JAEA(Japan Atomic Energy Agency). The compiled data base is consisted of atomic collision data and spectral data. The collision data base have been complied and evaluated in the data base JEAMDL(Japanese Evaluated Atomic and Molecular Data Library). For spectral data, several monograph have been published for highly charged heavy atoms. The production of atomic and molecular data relevant to current and future fusion devices also presented.
