Appendix A / Fourth ITER International Summer School (IISS2010) / Extended Abstracts / dx.doi.org/10.13182/FST11-A11701

The past year has been particularly important for the ITER project as staff levels have grown, a new ITER baseline has been prepared for final approval, system designs required for first plasma are nearly complete, and key procurement activities are getting under way. Progress in all of these areas has put the project in a good position to aggressively move toward first plasma in 2019 and activities beyond. [first paragraph from extended abstract]
