This week, the Bush Administration released its 2003 federal budget request. For the most part, the recommendation for programs at the Department of Energy which are of concern to ANS members will require increases by Congress just to keep them level funded. Below is a breakout of the items within the Office of Nuclear Energy (dollars are in millions): |

A few comments: The NET program for 2003 supports the issuance of the Generation IV Technology Roadmap. It also supports the implementation of Nuclear Power 2010. |
