Yucca Mountain public hearings scheduled in Nevada, December 5, 8, 12

The U.S. Department of Energy has scheduled nine pu blic hearings to be held December 5, 8, and 12, in Nevada.  It is accepting written comments through December 14, 2001.  T he ANS statement was submitted October 11, 2001.

The American Nuclear Society, based in the Chicago suburb of La Grange Park, IL, is a not-for-profit, international, scientific and educational organization.
