Fiona Rayment Honored by Queen Elizabeth

ANS member Fiona Rayment was honored by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth as an Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire on June 16, 2017. She was included on the official Queen’s Birthday Honours list and was recognized for her work in the areas of R&D, innovation and skills development across the nuclear sector.

Dr. Rayment was also voted onto the ANS Board of Directors as the Non-U.S. At-Large Director at the June 2017 ANS Annual Meeting. She has been an ANS member since 2012 and serves on the Fuel Cycle and Waste Management Division and the Reactor Physics Division.
