Nuclear Included in Proposed Federal Funding Bill
|
The House Appropriations Committee released the text of its final FY17 omnibus appropriations bill last night, which would fund the federal government through September 30, 2017. It includes $1.02B for nuclear energy research, development, and demonstration activities and $905M for the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
Here are the nuclear-related pages from the conference report.
Barring any last-minute controversy, Congress should send the bill to the President's desk this week or next.
