NEICA Bill Moves to the Senate

The Nuclear Energy Innovation Capabilities Act (NEICA) was presented to the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee and will now move onto the full Senate. It was cleared on March 30.

The bill would allow for the creation of a National Reactor Innovation Center to harmonize the technical expertise of the national labs, the Department of Energy, Nuclear Regulatory Commission and the private sector to lead advanced nuclear technologies.
