Nuclear Energy Keeping High Profile at COP22

The American Nuclear Society and its nearly 150 partners in the Nuclear for Climate coalition will have representatives on hand at the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (Conference of the Parties, COP22) in Morocco, November 7-18, 2016. 

ANS members Lenka Kollar and Kristine Madden will be joined by other #Nuclear4Climate members at a booth that will provide information about the value and benefits of nuclear energy in meeting climate goals established under the Paris 2015 Agreement. The coalition continues to distribute its Position Paper encouraging the expansion of nuclear energy as part of climate change solutions.
