The House Passes Advanced Nuclear Technology Bill

The House of Representatives passed the H.R. 4979-Advanced Nuclear Technology Development Act of 2016, on September 12 by unopposed voice vote. The bill promotes civilian R&D of advanced nuclear technology as well as licensing and commercial deployment updates to get that research to market. This is the latest in a series of bipartisan wins for advanced nuclear we're hoping will continue in the 115th Congress.
