ANS Salutes Veterans

As a part of Veterans Day events, the American Nuclear Society honored U.S. military veterans, including the men and women who served in the Nuclear Navy.

In anticipation of Veterans Day, all military veterans were asked to stand as the more than 1,200 conference attendees thanked them for their years of service at the opening session of its 2015 Winter Meeting in Washington, D.C.

The veterans were given a special insignia for their conference badges in recognition of their military service and contributions to the nuclear industry.
