ANS Local Section Launches “Bringing Nuclear into the Classroom”
Members of the Savannah River American Nuclear Society Local Section have launched a joint initiative to educate teachers about nuclear science.
The program, in partnership with Citizens for Nuclear Technology Awareness (CNTA), focuses on hands-on activities that teach the fundamentals of nuclear science. The teachers in turn take the lessons learned and apply them to K-12 classrooms in the area.
